Welcome to Christ Our Savior Catholic Parish!
“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” (Matt 28:19-20)
In a time where we all have so many options as to how we will spend our time and where we will honor the Lord Jesus, I am so grateful that you would honor our parish community with your presence, gifts and time. It is my hope that bringing all of our gifts to the altar of the Lord, we can continue the call of the Lord to make disciples.
Our parish was established in 2005 under the leadership of the first pastor, Msgr. J. Michael McKiernan. He was given a piece of land and a geographical area to build a parish community and a Church for the community to worship in. Through his efforts and the second pastor, Fr. Steve Correz, our Church building is being constructed with the hope of being open in March of 2021. More important were the efforts made by these two men and the parishioners of the parish in building a community that is welcoming and inclusive. It is my hope that you will feel the same warm welcome I received as the third pastor of Christ, Our Savior Catholic Parish.
While the Church building is being constructed, we still have the more important task of inviting others to join us as disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in building the Kingdom of God. I encourage you to become involved in our work by nurturing the faith by assisting in one of our parish ministries.
I have one request of you. When you come to Mass or any other activity here at the parish campus, please introduce yourself to me.
